 Heart sounds
I'm 14 years old. I've always been interested in medical stuff, and I want to be a doctor when I'm grown. My Mom gave me a real stethoscope for my birthday! I've listened to Mom's heart, my sister's heart, and the hearts of most of my friends. One time I was listening to my cousin Rosa's heart and I heard it skip a beat. It was weird. Her heart was beating normal at first, then it was like it stopped for a second, then a couple of strange sounding beats close together, then it went back to beating normal. It sounded sort of like lub-dup lub-dup....balubadup... lub-dup lub-dup. Rosa is 13. Other times when I've listened to her heart, it sounded the same as mine. What made her heart skip like that?
