No. It often times can be heard with a stethoscope. During my reading and researching of MVP, that is how it is usually, initially found - with a stethascope. Then further testing will confirm MVP. A heart murmur is what is heard, further testing will tell what is causing the murmur.
That is why I'm asking - here. I was wondering if those who have MVP, if their doctor can hear it when listening through a stethoscope. And since I was having the heart sensations while the doctor was listening with a stethoscope would it have been likely that the doctor would have heard it if I had one?
