What heart meds did you take while pregnant? - Heart Disorders Message Board

What beta or calcium channel blockers did you take while pregnant? I currently have a call into my Cardiologist who is looking into it and I will be calling my Perinatologist shortly to get his opinion and also my OB.
I have Inappropriate Sinus Tachycardia and have been off my Nadolol since January 2008. Even while on beta-blockers I was on a low dose which my Perinatologist ok'd when pregnant, but we never discussed which medications were safer than others. I have been getting a littl more tachy with mild exertion the past week and not quite to the point where I think I need to take my medicine, but want to be prepared.

I was on Metoprolol during my last pregnancy. I did not have any problems.

I was on metoprolol a couple years ago--it worked well for awhile, but then it really wasn't controlling my tachy, but would be more than willing to give it another shot.
It is also one that I found online to be better than others.
Still waiting to hear back from the doctors...hopefully I'll have an answer before I need meds! LOL!
