Hi,
If you are like me when I got diagnosed with regurgitation of the aorta you are currently in a bit of a blind panic, trawling through any info you can on the web, I was put on b/p tablet and a statin, It doesnt automatically mean surgery, like you, I was 44yrs old when they spotted it, I have a few symptoms occasionally, but for most of the time, I just get on with my life, annual echo's just to keep an eye on the situation, in a way we are lucky as we are being monitored and we know what our problem is, there must be millions who go around undiagnosed with heart and circulatory conditions that can be like ticking bombs. Keep a healthy diet (with the occasional treat) keep exercising, and carry on enjoying and planning your life
