Impaired LV relaxation,Abnormal ventricular diastolic filling?

Had a serioux PE last year. I was checked out for pulmonary hypertension, it was not present. My EF was 55%, and I showed "abnormal left ventricular diastolic filling, with impaired LV relaxation". Other findings, simply put:
Right ventricle/right atrium are normal.
Left ventricle normal, no hypertrophy with regional wall motion abnormalities.
Aortic, mitral, and tricuspid valves are normal.
What exactly does this mean? Could this possibly be related to my being lightheaded at times and frequent fainting spells?(lose consciousness temporarily)? Thanks so much.
