what is happening? I think its my heart

about 2 months ago i got the most sick ive ever been and was coming in and out of concienceness in the bathroom. I was sweating really bad and went in and out of conciensness about 7 times or more. Anyway it passed and so i just went on with life. ever since then i have been having episodes of some sort, about 6 big ones so far but about two little ones every day. They happen at random times or when i exercise or get fatigued. first i feel my heart start throbbing and right after i get a splitting headache, my stomach goes into a knot, i hit the floor and the room starts spinning, sometimes i black out. the very biggest one though was in the middle of the night while i was asleep. it was like i was hit by a bolt of lightning arms and legs flew up and tightened into my body. there was pain throughout my chest, arms and neck like i was on fire and i immediately couldnt breathe, before i lost conscienceness i really wanted to die. ever since i have had a constant pain in my chest and sometimes my neck. What is happening? and right now im having a pain in the center of my chest and shortness of breath and my heads kind of spinning what should i do?

Re: what is happening? I think its my heart

Hi, Please whatever you do, you need to seek medical attention right away. I myself had this happen back in October of 2008. I hate doctors keep in mind but finally fainted in public where I was forced to go to ER. After a series of test it came back that I had heart failure and now im on the transplant list. Your heart is something you don not want to mess with trust me. Im not trying to scare you but you really need to seek medical attention. Im sure by letting this continue you are only letting the situation get worse.

Chelsoccer,
Without any panic you need to quietly get yourself to ER and be diagnosed by someone there. Don't try self diagnosis. I would not wait for a doctor's appointment as you don't know when this might occur again. I would be asking for someone to drive me. Time is important and if you get there chances are you will make a good recovery.
Remember, you want to live to talk about this!!

Re: what is happening? I think its my heart

Hey guys thanks a lot for your reply's. I kinda lost this version of my post and so i thought it never got posted but never mind (: You might have read my other post similar to this that i also posted again, woops. anyway, i just found this one again and its great to hear some feed back. yes everything is still happening like the pain in my chest and stuff and i ended up driving down to the hospital the night i posted this. I didnt go in though, just slept outside in my car just in case, but didn't want to start in on all the bad money issues and stuff. I have been getting appointments set up lately and they have been running tests. I guess im just not as urgant as i need to be, thats always been a downfall of mine. I almost passed out at work and so my boss relieved me of my managing job so that sucks but also helps me deal with the stress of the job, and have more time to figure this thing out. again i appreciate your help on this subject and sure hope it turns out to be nothing too big, like heart failure or something! I am sorry for you. Anyway, im working this out and have like 10 test set up for the beginning of the week, so things will work out better soon i think. thanks again!

Re: what is happening? I think its my heart

Hey - in your other post you mentioned that you were bipolar, do you happen to be on Lithium, or have you taken it in the past? Lithium can be known to cause an arrythmia known as QT Prolongation. As well certain electrolyte imbalances and antibiotics can cause this problem as well. Were you taking any antibiotics when you were really sick? Glad you are seeing a doctor to rule out different problems such as this! Good luck
