| Enlarged, and leaky aortic root
so as i was in the Meps station to swear into the marine corps, the doctors
there heard a heart murmur. so they sent me to a cardiologist where he gave me an ultra sound. he said that my aortic root wasnt opening and closing properly? and he was concerned that maybe my heart was an enlarged (leading to marfan syndrom).
So i went to go take a ct scan and it showed that my aortic root was enlarged.
I only got the news today, they said im not allowed to lift any weights but i can still run, snowboard, and swim. he said i will be seeing a geneticist in a couple weeks to fully diagnose me.
does anyone know what this meens for me? or if anyone has any idea what it probably is?
2 weeks of worrying is makin me go insane.
any help would be greatly appreciated.
