| Re: When can the bypass patient stop taking medicine?
The length of time a patient has to take medication(s) depends upon why he needs the medication, and how well the medication is working.
Do you know what type(s) of medication your brother-in-law is on, and what each medication is supposed to do for him?
We all would like to go through life without having to be medicated. An alternative approach might be to go on a very healthy diet, stop smoking, limit alcohol, and do significant exercise, in order to limit medication.
