| bruising and lump
I had a cath done Monday. I was wondering if this is normal. Im sure many of you have had a cath, is the only reason why Im posting.
I have a bruise at the site, which I know is normal. However there is a bigger bruise about 2.5 inches down by crotch that goes into the leg area. Which I couldn't understand why, but I was ok with it. I took a shower last night, and noticed away from site is a very hard lump but its like a large lined lump (about 1.5 inches that is hard). that is in the crease on my leg and groin. Between the two bruises. I thought maybe it was scare tissue but I have never had any surgeries below that cath.
When I had the cath done, the lady pulled the cath out when I was in recovery. I didn't understand why all of a sudden my leg was tingling and I lost feeling in it temporarily. She said was applying to much pressure and apologized. Which I was like.. its ok, everyone makes mistakes nobodies perfect.
I just don't know if I should ask my MD about the site.. I asked my husband, and he just seemed irritated with me. My leg still aches, but its not real bad, and I get a burning sensation at times.
Just wondered if anyone can at least tell me if this is normal please?
Can scar tissue build up below the site?
