heart thickening

How much exercise is a good thing for someone with a heart which is thickening?

You might need to get your doctor to authorize what kind of exercise you are capable of. They might even want to send you to Cardiac Rehab to see how much stress level/activity level your heart can handle. There is a reason all exercise programs state you need to get your drs. permission before starting any kind of new exercise programs.

The best exercise one can do for Heart Disease, is at the dinner table. Eating a very healthy, reasonable calorie diet will do wonders for the heart and for one's overall health.
CHF, A-Fib, HBP, Diabetes, Asthma doing great

⇒ Avoid allergic & non-allergic irritants/triggers
⇒ Low calorie ovo-vegetarian diet
⇒ Power walk, weight lifts, pushups
⇒ Coreg 25mg bid
