nuclear stress test

I had the exercise portion of my nuclear stress test today and had a hard time reaching target heart rate of 154 although i started off tachicardic 113.. anyways they injected the radioactive stuff into my veins and i did just fine and hour and a half later I started itching.. i have had this done 2 times and i dont remember this a side effect or was this completely coincidental? i go for the resting tomorrow and didnt know if i should take benedryl first?

Re: nuclear stress test

I've had the same test 2 years in a row and haven't had those symptoms. That's strange. Some type of allergic reaction maybe?
