I am a 68 year old female.I had 7 Echo's done over the past 10 years. I was showing left vetricular hypertrophy, I am on B/P meds. I saw a cardio and he said I did not need a Echo for 2-3 years.
I just had one done again, All my ventricles, left and right atrium, aotic root, percrdium
and inferrior vena cave were within normal size and function. Left ventricular hypertrophy was no longer seen.
My report says I now have Aortic sclerosis without stenosis
mitra; annual calification, trace mital regurg.
moderate Pulmonary hypertenion.. The only doppler measurements I can understand is pulmonary sysolic pressure and the measurement is 51.2 mmHg.
I am schelduled fo a hysterectomy and repair of a prolaspe, but see a cardio next Weds.
Of course I did a search and have myself a nervous wreck. I have no symtons.
Any input would be greatly appreciated, how can this all turn up in 2 years?
