how many times can you drain the lungs?

I don´t know the number, but I guess that it will be different for every body, depends on how do you react to medication, but also depends on what do you mean by "draining the lungs" most of us take diuretics to drain them everyday and, if lucky do not feel that they have fluids, then they are the crisis where every gets out of control and need emergency help or die suffocated ....
