| Heart or Hiatus?
Hi,
I just got out of hospital today after an overnight stay.
I had really bad chest pain yesterday and went to ER ( A & E) firstly they gave me an ECG and then i had some blood tests done. They all came back ok, but they wanted to keep me in overnight as my dad had a heart attack at 44 they did a 12 trop blood test which is supposed to be pretty conclusive. That cae back negative and good. Ive come home now and i feel terrible. Ive been reading about hiatus hernia's and i seem to have ALL the symptoms.
I think i may have a virus too as i feel nauseaous and weak and look as white as a ghost. Ive been having really bad heartburn for the past 3 monthsand a feeling like food has stuck in my top of stomach (hiatus area). The Doc said i should get a referral to a gastro, which i will, but im really scared. I sort of know it isnt my heart, but i feel shaky, and weak. Im hoping this is a virus exasperated by this heartburn/chest pain. Anyone else ever had these symptoms please, or could give advice, thanks
