| Calcium score
I was having palpitations occasionally, and saw a cardiologist who had me do a calcium tomography exam. A high score is 400 and mine was a whopping 3400. Does this mean I automatically will have a heart attack in the near future? My chol was 206, my ldl - 112 and my dl - 70, triglycerides - 109. My Dr. wants me to take Lipitor but I read about the many side effects. I want to try a strict diet, suppliments, and exercise and wait 3 months. What do you think? Does lipitor not only prevent new plaque - but also remoce what has ben deposited already?
