i,ve got a fibulater and pacemaker which was put in a yesr ago that brought up my infraction rate to 30 but just got it checked again and it,s back down to 22% now. would like to know how low can it get before it stop,s?....thank,s
Don't think there's an absolute answer to your question. Do you have swelling or other signs of congestive heart failure?
I have a defibrillator because my ejection fraction is in the 25% range. It's been there for years, yet I live a normal life without obvious CHF symptoms.
I had a stress cardiac PET scan last week, but haven't heard back from the cardiologist on what it shows.
I have heard of individuals whose EF is 10%. But evidently that gets pretty dicey, because that (as I understand it) is probably heart transplant range.
