Questions re: CAD

I am a 58 year old female who had 3 stents placed Dec 30 and 4 stents placed Feb.1 - they told me that, thanks to my dad's side of the family who all passed early with heart disease/hardening of the arteries, and my careless lifestyle, I have very advanced/progressive disease. 3 in the RCA , 3 in the LAD and 1 in the Cicumflex (?).

I don't see my cardiologist until 3/8 and, of course, I have tons of questions that I'd like to have input into before i go ... for instance, if the heart area is that bad, what do the rest of my "veins" "arteries" "whatevers" look like? Could that be the reason I have "rubber band" legs and why I'm struggling so hard at work sometimes? Any input you have will be appreciated.....

Re: Questions re: CAD

I'll try to answer some...

1) "what do the rest of my "veins" "arteries" "
You can ask for a doppler study of your carotids since those are the most important ones to see that the status is.

2) "I'm struggling so hard at work sometimes?"
What was the reason for them to place the stents in the first place? Did you have a Heart Attack? If yes, this can be the reason of your tiredness.
After the stents, have they managed to open ALL your coronaries, or still you have some with problems?

Sorry, I do not understand the term "rubber band" legs.

Re: Questions re: CAD

I don't know if there are other blockages or not...won't know till I go back to the cardio on the 8th....no, I didn't have a heart attack but was told had I waited 2 more weeks I would likely have been gone. Had been having severe neck and arm pains for two months prior to seeing a cardio.....I was convinced it was my neck...not my heart....yep, I've been eating a lot of crow lately
