Unexplainable irregular beat

First off hello,
19 male.
I have been experiencing an unexplained heart beat since this morning.
It's similar to not noticing your heartbeat then all of a sudden I get a pronounced thump of a beat. It is not hard by terms of pain or anything. But by comparison, not feeling the beats, then getting this "harder" thump. It's usually not one after another but minutes apart sometimes 30 seconds.
Its really difficult for me to explain. When it happens it's pronounced, more so than the normal beats which are completely unnoticeable.

I have felt this before. Last time was around two years ago. I was so scared i went to the Emergency room. Doctor told me he found absolutely nothing wrong, and what sucked was every time they listened or tested me it didn't happen/ yet when he explained my options it happened lol.

My only existing health problems are asthma. I thought maybe im not getting enough oxygen? Maybe a lack of vitamins?
I DO NOT have anxiety problems. However this is a scary event. To feel heart thumps regularly over time.
Again this phenomenon is not a life time thing. I started feeling this when i woke up this morning, and for a short period of time two years ago. (at the time it went away on its own) IT also has nothing to do with my heart rate and exercising because i wasn't working out it anyway.

Please any help/ opinion is welcomed. I'm looking for reassurance that my heart isnt going to explode.
[Ill be honest.. I let out a big burp and i havent felt it since. could it be related to gas? I don't want to brush it off and have it be a big problem]

Re: Unexplainable irregular beat

Could have been gas related but could have been a simple PVC....i cant explain what a PVC is because well i really dont know but i get them alot...as long as you dont get them many in a row and alot at a time they shouldnt cause you problems BUT id go talk to a doctor about it anyway...couldnt hurt.

Re: Unexplainable irregular beat

If it's a PVC event (Premature Ventricular Contraction) it is quite common. I have it and yes, it's very scary but my Cardio guy said nothing to worry about. Any EKG will pick it up if you have one done.

Do you notice them when your maybe tired or upset about something? I seriously doubt your heart will "explode" but it sure feels that way huh?

Keep an eye on it and see if it happening any certain time of the day or night or after certain foods are eaten. Naturally if it keeps up, get an appt, with a Cardio person even if just for reassurance.

Good luck...JJ...
