Lately I've been having this chest pain when I wake up. it's so severe that I just wanna lay there til it subsides. But soon as I get out of bed it starts to get better, and I have no problem throughout the day.
I'm 53 years old, I'm currently on hydrochlorathiazide for BP. I'm also on aspirin therapy. Had A-fib 5 years ago. Converted without any complications. I work out at least 5 times a week, including an hour on the stair master. I would say I'm in the best shape I've been in in years, since i was in my twenties. Other than these recent episodes, i feel great.
.. chest pain when I wake up ... out of bed better ... no problem throughout the day ... on hydrochlorathiazide, aspirin ... I work out at least 5 times a week, including an hour on the stair master ... no other symptoms ... Any thoughts?
Could it be acid, gerd, indigestion related? HCTZ has possible digestion side effects, and aspirin can cause heartburn. Perhaps the combination of the two?
One would think that the lack of any other symptoms, and the lack of any kind of health or heart problem during the day, or during demanding exercise, could greatly decrease the possibility of significant heart disease, IMHO.
CHF, A-Fib, HBP, Diabetes, Asthma doing great
I too have the same problem. Plus when I woke up, I forgot all things about yesterday for a while. I need to seat for at-least 5-10 mins to remember everything about my existence. I got frustration when this happens every morning. Can any one help me?
