| Chronic dry cough with pain and numbness in my right hand/arm
For the past several months I have been experiencing a chronic dry cough, it tends to come and go when I either have heart palpitations or a tightness in my chest. The cough itself varies in the sense that I may have a coughing spell just once a day to several times throughout a day, I have been told that I even do this in my sleep. Lately, I have also been experiencing pain in my right arm in the shoulder joint area which frequently is coupled with a numbness in my right fingertips. I notice the numbness more so when I am laying down going to sleep...if I re-position myself in bed and hang my right hand/arm down towards the floor the numbness usually goes away. I am concerned as heart problems run in my family and 2 of my brothers have most recently had several stints put in their heart. I am a 46 year old female who is active and of average weight...I don't smoke and will have about 2 glasses of wine a night. Thank you
