My husband went to one of his appointments at the doctor today, and was told that he has a "Big Heart" and one of his muscle is damaged. I am lost and confused because he did not asked the Doctor what this meant. Please can someone answer this question for me. What is a "Big Heart"? What does it mean?

I would request a copy of the test results and ask his doctors what's causing this - make a list of questions and make sure his doctor answers them; if not it might be beneficial to find another cardiologist.
An enlarged heart (cardiomegaly) can be caused by many different things and it can be a symptom of different heart conditions.
Heart muscle damage (cardiomyopathy) is also caused by different things and needs to be addressed along with his other conditions and symptoms.
A big question would be - what is his EF (ejection fraction) and does he have high blood pressure? if so how long?

He does not suffer from high BP but he suffered a heart attack February 20, 2011 and a stint procedure was done on him February 22, 2011
that makes sense then; he probably suffered heart muscle damage as a result of the heart attack and his heart is enlarged because of the weakening of the heart muscle; make sure he asks his doctor's what caused this in case there's another underlying condition [hope this makes sense and I got it right =)]
also; since he did have a heart attack make sure he reports any arrhythmia's to his cardiologist which is quite common to happen after an attack and should be evaluated by an "electrical" dr (EP or Electrophysiologist)
