neveragain444 Senior Veteran (female) Join Date: Aug 2008 Location: GA Posts: 1,452	Irregular heart rhythyms during sedation Is it normal to have irregular heart rhythyms when you are put to sleep for a surgical procedure?? Not PVC's, something else. I have also had bigeminal rhythyms after mild sedation. After one surgery, (during recovery) my oxygen was low and I would stop breathing. This started happening about a year and half ago. Never had any past problems with surgeries or surgical procedures. Curious if it can be normal. Thanks.
