Mitral Valve Proplapse - Anyone who knows about this - please help!
Could this be mitral valve proplapse.
My symptoms are : - extreme fatigue most of the day every day,
- strong palpitations in the front of my neck, (where adams apple is) several times a week, sometimes these are accompanied by horrible sudden weakness throughout the body,
- pre-syncopes - these are frequent spells of feeling faint.
- occasional chest pains where heart is but not severe
I did have a 24-hour cardiogram last year which apparently came back normal. My doc thinks I have CFS/ME but symptoms dont fully fit for that.
Any advice would be very much appreciated - thank you, Paul

Allergies can result in palpitations, weakness, fatigue, high blood pressure, fainting; besides the more common symptoms of stuffed up nose and problems breathing.
Do you have allergies? Ever have problems breathing? Stuffy sinuses?

Hi I would like to know if you lifted heavy weight or weights in the past, more than say the baby or the groceries? Some people get prolapse with weight lifting according to reports I have read.

Some people react to too much caffeine and wrong allegy meds. I would get off caffeine totally - don't even eat chocolate - and some people changed meds.
I have read that cayenne is good to dilate blood vessels at a heart attack, celery seed tea is said to be good for the heart. Losing weight is paramount of importance to bring the blood vessels into better condition since the fat not only sits on the belly after awhile it also lines blood vessels until they close.
Caffeine of any sort would constrict blood vessels making heart attacks all the more likely.
In addition the government as I understand it has to monitor the chocolate to keep the level of rat dung and insect parts lower. I would lower animal products or even eliminate them. I would use plenty of raw fruits and vegetables in addition to some cooked ones. I would keep the body weight to a proper level according to charts if possible. I would walk daily. I would keep a proper amount of water in the body. 50 ounces for every 100 pounds body weight.
I would do a daily short brisk walk outside in the sun when it is not bad weather even in winter after meals. I would try to keep a schedule. I would avoid vinegars, drugs, alcohol, tobacco, food additives and even outside lotions since these often contain things that absorb into the skin within 27 seconds.
I would try to get 8 hours sleep with a proper bedtime each night. Peace

Get an ecocardiogram done. That will tell right away if you have MVP. ECHO's are quick and easy about 30 mins to have one done. It's pretty cool, you can even look at the inside of your heart if you want to see.
