| Heart Arrythmia
I am taking 40mg Sotalol twice daily for my arrythmia which occurs at random every couple of months or so. It lasts anywhere from 15 seconds to about an hour, then simply goes away. I have been prescibed Bisoprolol, which increased the severity and occurances of the arrythmia. I weaned myself off and did not have an episode for 7 or 8 months. after my last episode, I was prescribed Diltiazem, to which I had a severe allergic reaction. Hives, swelling, etc.).
So far things are OK, but can anyone suggest an alternative to pharmaceuticals for this condition? The side effects sem worse than the actual arrythmia, which no longer terrifies me. I have accepted my condition,
