| strange left shoulder pain
After being sedative since Christmas, I went to gym for a minor workout (shoot around basketball) yesterday. After 2 hours or so, I felt pain in my left shoulder. I thought maybe I didn't warmup. I stretched a little bit but raising arms above my shoulder was really painful. It felt a little like muscular pain but I never had that kind of pain before. I then had a hot shower and massage the area thinking maybe I have shoulder issues now. (I had gout problems before taking medicines). Strangely, the pain disappeared gradually in a few hours.
It alarms me that I may have heart issues. My mother died of heart disease. I always had higher than normal pulse rate (80) since I start working. I also have high blood pressure (~135-140/90) after being in the pre-hypertension for some years. I had chest pains once a while since young; the pain that you had to stop breathing or breathing slowly before it became normal.
I plan to go see a doctor after the vacation, but wonder if someone had similar experiences before diagnosed with heart problem?
Thanks for sharing and happy new year!
