| Heart problem or something else?
In last 2 weeks, I had 2 episodes where I nearly passed out (while driving). Symptoms were heart palpitations (which I've been experiencing the last couple of months), sudden dizzyness, nausea with the second episode followed with right eyelid drooping and numbness in right side of chin. I had a Holter to monitor my heart with no significant findings (prior to that, they saw two irregular heart beats in a 10 second ECG), preliminary neurological exam fine, cholesterol and blood pressure fine, only slightly overweight, don't smoke or drink, but have anxiety and consume excessive caffeine. Any ideas? I'm very concerned what this could be.
I just started seeing a neurologist who said it could be anxiety (but not likely), a seizure, or mini stroke even though I don't have the high risk factors. The cardiologist has ordered several tests, including a stress test this week. But I have a feeling all will come out within the "normal" range, which is what always happens to me.
Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and what has been the results.
