Mitral Valve Thickening

I'm a 26 year old male, recently checked by a cardiologist (ecg, echo, etc..), he said everything was fine on the ecg and the echo showed my heart was "structurally normal". However, when I glanced on the screen everything said normal except "Mild thickening of the anterior mitral valve leaflet"....
Is there a way to reverse this? How do i prevent "mild" from becoming "severe"??

Re: Mitral Valve Thickening

Hi, i have that too. As long as there is no problems with blood flow you are usually good. Family heredity tends to lead to this.

Best thing to avoid a problem is limit alcohol, AVOID energy drinks and just be cautious of it.

Are you taking any supplements? Omega 3 fish oil seems to help.
