I am 23 years old and when I walk my heart rate reaches 115-120. My doctor has order 2 echocardiograms as well as 3 EKG's that all came back normal. I asked for a stress test and he said it was not necessary. Usual resting heart rate is 75-85. I have had some anxiety issues but really don't think the two are connected. Do you think I should trust him is that a normal walking heart rate?
Do you have any other symptoms, chest pain etc;
Your normal walking heart rate would depend on many factors - your fitness level, wether you were walking uphill, on flat ground, walking pace etc;
I don't think they will give you a stress test just because you think your heart rate is too fast while you're walking.
