| | question about SVT that came on during pregnancy
Hi, I am 33 yrs. old I was pregnant with my fourth baby and around 3 in a half months pregnant my heart would just start racing , then it was happening every day! Well it took the Dr.'s a month to figure out I had SVT. I had to wear a heart moniter for 2 months. Once in august of 2011 and in October of 2011.The er dr. had to do cardioversion on me 2 times one day in October of 2011, cause my heart rate was in the 170's. but i been fine on the atenolol. Also had a normal echocardiogram, so that is reassuring, but my question is will I always have to take the atenolol? It makes me dizzy off and on, so then that gives me anxiety, then my heart rate has been in the mid 50's and lower 60's! and I feel so tired all the time. I also have graves disease, but my thyroid is stable and has been for 2 months. I am not on any medication for it. I still get heart palps too, and its always when my heart rate is in the 50's. It scares me! I can't go on long walks either like I want and use to everyday, cause then it lowers my bp too low! I am just tired of worrying , anyone have the same issues?
