Heart Beating Faster?

It all started when I was on Doxycycline for 10 moths and clindamycin solution for over a year. I ended up having this noise like air was coming out of my chest when I would twist my torso. I ignored it. A month or so later I noticed I was getting out of breath when I would do something like vacuum my car out or carry anything slightly heavy. I then noticed slowly I was getting tired. I was having trouble sleeping. I went to doc he said I was exhausted and gave me ambien to sleep. I took it but no better. I went to another doc who then gave me naproxen (?) for some shoulder pain. My pee turn brown and I had these severe stomach cramps. I stopped it and my stomach started aching after that. Now I can't eat without feeling full really quick. I do have an upset stomach most time. I had little diarrhea now I am constipated and on meds for it. I know the antibiotics messed me up. I am seeing a gi doc who thinks nothing is wrong. I have been complaining that my heartbeat was in the 70"s till I got sick now it is 90 something or a little over 100. My family doc thinks it is anxiety and my gi doc said I need to see family doc to check my heart out. I do remember this day when I was really out of it. I remember walking up these stairs and my legs got heavier and heavier then I was getting out out breath. I was not dizzy. I was really tired and out of breath. It took me about 3-5 minutes to get my breath under control. The other day I had to run out to my truck and I was in a hurry so I walked fast and had a handful to carry in. I got really out of breath by it. I don't feel this is just anxiety but I don't wanna go to doc and have them run test that waste money. So does this sound like anything like heart trouble or anxiety? I also have lost weight not trying. I am becoming very lazy because I am tired all the time. I do feel shaky sometimes.

Re: Heart Beating Faster?

Hi maybe since the family doctor was seen already would the insurance allow a cardiologist?

Re: Heart Beating Faster?

With my insurance I do not need a referral to see a specialist. I can go to a cardiologist at anytime. I am just not wanting to put the money out if it is just anxiety.

Re: Heart Beating Faster?

Hi of course if it is the heart waiting might be the incorrect decision to make. Obviously antibiotics were done for awhile which would contribute to Candida in many a person and subsequent symptoms such as diarrhea and maybe electrolyte losses. Sugar would feed Candida and also make it worse. Toxins from the candida might give more symptoms such as anxiety.

Have the electrolytes been checked?
Is the blood pressure low?
How much water is taken in daily in number of cups?

Re: Heart Beating Faster?

I know my blood pressure has been ok when I go to the doc. Atleast they never say anything about it. I do not drink as much water as I should I usually drink a couple of glasses or a bottle a day. Maybe two bottles. I have had them checked and all good. Well the first test my potassium was high but next test it was normal.

Re: Heart Beating Faster?

Hi if a woman weighs 100 pounds she should drink 6.25 cups of water, minimum and more likely about 7-8 glasses according to some opinions. Water drinking is important to keep blood from getting too sludgy and thick, a form of dehydration on the inside does not usually help health. I suppose it could put one at risk for clots and heart attacks. Water is necessary for many other important functions in the body.

I am also concerned about the dark urine. Is the Naprosyn still being taken? It can cause dark urine and can be a symptom of liver failure. Have the liver enzymes been taken by the GI doctor?

Peace, sjb
