Is this a concern

Results from stress ECG treadmill test
0.5mm ST depression and T inversion were seen in the recovery period
My bp was 128\61
They want to do a 24 hr ECG holster test and a diagnostic coronary angiogram
Should I be worried

Re: Is this a concern

The Angiogram will be to check for narrowed/blocked coronary arteries.
Why did you have the stress test, were you experiencing chest discomfort?

I wouldn't worry too much about it - wait for the Angio results.

Good Luck.

Re: Is this a concern

Yes I have had a heavy chest and suffered with panic attacks and anxiety for years but pushed my doc for this test
I have asked both the cardi doc and my gp if this could be stress and anxiety still and they've both said yes
Do i believe them no its stressed me out at first but now I just think well at least I'm going to get sorted
I have heard some horror stories re angiograms and cardi doc explained the risks

Re: Is this a concern

personally, i think youre pretty lucky that you have docs that want to do more tests. that means theyre gettin to the bottom of it, right? Should you be worried? wrong question. be concerned. ask questions (of the docs). however, if you are a worrier, bring a friend for support. think of it as a mission maybe... that you MUST stay strong till the end so you can get those answers! you could also do some research. I mean actual terminology. when i go in to the docs office with knowledge, it adds a certain comfortability... lessening the worries... a little... better than nothing.
