Question repeat nuclear stress test ok?

I had a nuclear stress test in February 2012. I failed and that led to a cath and insertion of stenting in Mid March. I took and passed a non- nuclear stress test in Late April 2012. I am applying to the Coast Guard to have my captain's license renewed, and they, in light of the above information, are requesting another nucler stress test at this time. I'm sure my insurance company won't pay for it, but if I want to can it be done at this time? I have no other symptoms or indications- no problematiceal EKG, etc. So, can I have a second nuclear stress test just because the Coast Guard wants it?

Captain Joe

Shold be ok. I have had them done a few months apart before and never any problems. But I am not a doctor. Best discuss it with him or her.
