Thumbs down beta blockers

I take coreg for heart problems but the side effects is aweful.
Does anyone know what is the best beta blocker that doesn't make asthma worse or drop your heart rate below 50

I've been on 25mg Coreg, twice a day for quite a while. I take it at 5am and it makes me fatigued around 6am. The fatigue gets worse as the morning goes on. Then, around 10:30am, I start to feel better.

What I have found that helps quite a bit is lifting weights and doing pushups. The physical exercise seems to mute the effects of Coreg.

I have found that I can avoid night-time asthma problems if I avoid asthma triggers and if I take a shower before bed to wash off any pollen and allergens.

My heart rate also has dropped below 50 many times, but it doesn't seem to be a problem for me. OTOH, I am retired, so if I am a little tired and dragged out during the day, tis not a major problem.

Personally, I LOVE Coreg, even if it does "drag me out" in the morning. I have serious heart problems I have found Coreg to be a magnificent, healing, wonderful medication.

Best of luck and health with your heart problems and finding medication(s) that work best for you!
