Stent failing?
Hi all, hopefully someone can help me out. My dad just went into Hospital with chest pains as far as i know ( I don't speak to him) and was wondering if the stent is failing. He smokes still and stopped taking medication 2-3 years ago but takes aspirin from time to time when he gets pain if i can remember rightly.

Is there anyone out there who can help?

P.S. I think he has had the stent for 10-11 years.

Yes his stent may be failing. My husband who died suddenly in his sleep had a stent because he was blocked 70% in '09. His autopsy stated his stent closed back to 70% and this was a contributer to his death. Take care
