Auto-immune & Cardiomyopathy?
Hello. I am writing this in hopes someone can give me some insight to help me wrap my brain around my resent tests pointing to cardiomyopathy? I am a 39-year-old Caucasian female, I have never smoked, nor have a done drugs, I drink in moderation and I am not overweight. For 8 years I have had high blood pressure, which I am being treated for. I recently visited my doctor for heartburn. I canít seem to ever get a breath and I am always out of breath, I feel as if someone is pushing my chest from the inside out. I have had constant chest pain for as long as I can remember, but never thought anything of it.
The past two weeks Iíve had:
X-Ray: No enlarged heart/X-Ray looks good
CTA Ė CT procedure: No blood clots/CT was good
Blood tests: Creatine Serum was low; RBC was low
Echo-Stress Test: Left ventricle ejection infarction 35% (should be 55% as Iím told)
ANA TITER Positive 1:320 TITER
My mother has Rheumatoid arthritis; my father has cardiomyopathy.
I have auto-immune antibodies but never have been diagnosed with Lupus, etc.; do you think these antibodies intertwine with my tests showing cardiomyopathy?
I see my cardiologist tomorrow and I donít want him to laugh when I ask this question.
Any comments/suggestions will be greatly appreciated! Thank you for reading.
