Horrible chest and arm pain when throwing up?

Hello, I have a very fast heart rate and take medicine for it but, for the past 5 mths. every time I get sick and vomit I have horrible pain and tingling in the left side of my chest and left arm. It is so bad it feels like I am dying I have to lay down on my left arm until it quits which usually takes 15 mins...does anyone have any ideas what may cause this. I also have ruptured discs in the Tspine.

Re: Horrible chest and arm pain when throwing up?

Greetings! I am sorry to hear these things my sympathies. I hope you feel better soon. I might visit an excellent cardiologist and even call 911 when symptoms like that occur in case there is a blockage in heart arteries.

As for disc pain I suggest drinking plenty of water this may help fill the cushions a bit and pull the vertabrae off the nerves for less pain. Peace, sjb

Re: Horrible chest and arm pain when throwing up?

Go very soon and see a doctor. It sounds heart-related and you do not want to ignore it. If you are go on having these episodes you may be causing damage to your heart. You need to get an ECG, and bloodwork to determine if you are having cardiac issues, and whether they are leaving damage. I have arrhythmia and my cardiologist is very definite about pain. Anyway, why are you vomiting so much? It is not normal to be throwing up all the time. Please get checked out. Sera
