Concerned I may have heart issues
I seem to persistently have pains in my neck, left shoulder and left arms They're not super bad omg worst pain ever type of pains, but they keep happening. They are short and very sharp. In addition, my left pectoral is very sore to the touch. It's been that way for a very long time. As long as I can remember. Sometimes when I breath I get sharp pains there and elsewhere. I also wake up every morning with a racing heartbeat.
About a month and a half ago I went to the ER. I woke up one morning feeling nauseous and short of breath and felt like I was dying. During my stay at the hospital they did blood work, EKG, chest x-ray, and a stress test. They also injected me with radioactive dye stuff before and after the stress test to check my heart muscles I think. All of which came back normal. I spent the night and my blood pressure was 110/70 if I remember correctly and my heart rate was typically in the 70-85 range for most of the visit.
They diagnosed it as a panic attack.
My question is, what would those tests effectively rule out and what could these issues still be? Could they be anxiety strictly?
Would those tests rule out things like...
- Heart Disease
- Angina Pectoris
- Irregular Heart Beat issues
- Anything else I cant think of related to the heart
I'm 33 years old and about 5 foot 8 and 190 pounds. Pretty out of shape (Though I've been walking all summer) and for the most part, I eat like ****.
Feedback much appreciated.
