| Toprol XL use - side effects
I have been taking Toprol XL 12.5 mg - smallest dose one can take - and have had the worst side effects. I am taking it for tacycardia - I don't have blood pressure issues. This med makes my BP too low 102/60 when it's normally 120/80. I have only been on the drug for a week in a half - dr said to keep taking for two weeks to see how I feel. Last night I had the worst dreams, couldn't sleep, aural hallucinations and major anxiety. I had some anxiety prior to this med but it seems it has made it worse. Anyone had any of these effects? Dr now says to stop taking the med to see if my symptoms go away and to call him if heart rate gets over 100.
