jeslind45 Newbie (female) Join Date: Nov 2012 Location: Boston, Mass Posts: 1	How long does it take Cardizem to work?? I have been on Cardizem 240 for the past week and I notice my condition hasn't improve at all, I started on a small dosage and from there they have increased it to 240. Besides that medication I'm also taking another medication called Toprol 50mg and none of them are controlling my heart rate there are times that it races so fast that I feel like I'm going to pass out. Does anyone know how long does it take for these medication to work?
