hello everyone, I haven't stopped in for a while. I posted a while back about me having skipped heartbeats that were scarying me so badly and recieved excellent feedback.
I stopped all flour and sugar products and cut caffeine down to almost nothing (mostly nothing actually) no fried foods, no spicy foods. Started taking vitamins, magnesium and iodine (dr's choice on the iodine) and an enzyme for my stomach beings that when it hurt, that was when the skipping started.
Well after a couple months now (3 months) if I am having any skipped heartbeats I do not feel them. I feel much better overall, blood pressure is normal. I am also taking GABA for anxiety - which I have had for years now.
A local clinic recently had a screening that was affordable (I don't have insurance) so went to that, had 6 test done - kidney, body mass, chronic venous insuffiency, perifpheral arterial disease, abdomninal aoritc aneurysm, arial fibrillation and carotid artery disease. Ok looks like 7 test.. opps.
They say my blood pressure is too high.. which was 142/80.. which with the anxiety problems I have and getting me in a building, I consider that good.. it is always normal at home and have had the machine checked at the pharmacy and it is accurate. I am at moderate risk for osteoporosis and body mass is at moderate risk.. everything else is normal except Peripheral Arteril Disease and Chronic Venous Insuffiency (what is that?) Everything I have found so far says with this you have leg pains... I don't have that! I guess I need to do more research on it. The paper work does say to get rechecked. but that is impossible right now with no insurance and work has decreased my house thru the holidays.. it will be a few months before I can go to a doctor and get this checked out.
In the meantime, I will continue to do some research but if anyone can give me any suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
