Palpitations only at night after 3 hours
37-year old male. The post title speaks for itself. I am not anxious, neither depressed. Yet I still get palpitations after about 3 hours lying in bed at night. Yes, every single night. The only way to stop them is to raise my torso. If I lie down again, they start almost immediately once again. If I wait vertical a few hours, then often I am able to fall asleep again (and maintain it).
Although it might sound a relatively small problem, it has completely ruined my daily routine. I am only able to get to work in the afternoons. I used to sleep 8-9 hours. Now I can only sleep 3 between midnight and 3am and - if lucky - other 3 between around 8 and 11 am.
ECG findings: QRS 116, QTc 444.
Mild pectus excavatum.
