| Re: heart flutters during the dayand wake up with heart racing
It certainly can't hurt to see a doctor again. The tests are all non-invasive and will tell the doctor what's going on.
I have the same thing. Sometimes it's worse than other times. I may go months without symptoms. I'll wake up sometimes with my heart racing and it can be scary. I don't know if we have a bad dream or what happens but I've heard other people say it happens to them too.
I've been having quite a few flutters in the afternoons. After I take some magnesium it tends to go away. Even though I've had these all my life, it still upsets me and worries me.
I see my doctor usually twice a year. I take Cozaar for BP. Since you have BP issues apparently, you probably should see your doctor regularly anyway. Usually they like to check your electrolytes when you're on BP meds.
In all likelyhood, it's nothing serious. But seeing the doctor can give you peace of mind and assurance.
