48 weeks completed, good news from pegfaith - Hepatitis Message Board

Hi everyone
It has been along time since i have posted and gave an update on hubby's tx. He has completed his 48 weeks of pegintron therapy, geno type 1a...his final test results came back as NOn-detectable!!! We are so happy with the outcome, he was very fortunate to go through his Tx without any major complications and so far he is feeling pretty good. His TSH number is low and we will be getting more info on this soon. He goes back now in 6 months for his test to see if he has stayed in the clear. Just wanted to let you guys know how he did.

Wow. Very good news. He must be elated. You too.

Do us a great favor and stay in touch. It would be so valuable to hear how he feels, whether there are lingering effects of either hep or tx, and how soon they wear off, and so on.

Well, whether you check back in or not, please know that we are so glad for you! Tell the old man for us that he's done great.
