I am really sorry to hear that your Dad was told he doesn't have long to live. I hope this isn't true.
Many newly diagnosed people are told this and it just isn't true most of the time. Few people actually do die of hepatitis C so, before you accept this as a fact, ask more questions and get some straight answers from his doctor or from him. Come back and share what you find out and I'll do my best to help decipher the information, even if it is gruesome.
