hi. i would take a list of all current meds/herbs/vitamins you're on and maybe even those you have recently discontinued. be sure that it is understood that your list includes meds that have been discontinued. docs and nurses get confused pretty easy sometimes.

my individual situation has come to a 50mg dose of zoloft daily. it seems to be helping a great deal to smooth out the rough edges.

also, i have found that simply talking with someone who understands this therapy and the effects that can occur helps as much as the anti-d.

it is fascinating how little is known about interferon/ribavirin therapy among those employed in the medical field.

i have become comfortable with asking for a referral to a physician who is well educated and experienced in treating us folk who are enduring this important treatment. i also like to toss in a question about how most patients respond to the bedside manner of the referred to physician. i like to give positive feedback to those practicioners who take pride in what they do and work to help their patients achieve the best quality of life possible while enduring this therapy.

i have learned to pay attention to reputations doctors have acquired.
