Shot #11, Pegasys/Copegus - No sides!!!!! - Hepatitis Message Board

Just an update on my 11th injection.

Took my shot at 8:30, went to a 40th birthday party, karoked (oh that was so so bad but everyone else was drunk and thought it was great....gotta love 'em!), and stayed out till 1:00. The bar scene is really not my thing anymore but I have to admit, I enjoy watching others. I was worried I had over done it but here at work on a Saturday morning and planning on going to my nephews all star game at 1:00.

Sometimes I wonder if I didn't receive a placebo instead of the real pegasys. I am beginning to think the sides for people are of the minority and not the majority. But not for me to question; just am thankful that God has blessed me.

Ya'll have a great weekend and stock up on that good summer fruit that's in season!!!!

Jeannie, So glad you had a good time. It's a whole different picture, when you're not drinking. What's so funny about it, is I was so quiet when I drank, now I don't want to shut up. I used to karaoke, when I drank. The drinking gave me the courage to do it. I'll have to try it now that I'm not. Hope you have a great weekend too...

I am so glad that I am not the only one who has had minimal sides. I feel so lucky! I am also so happy for you. It sounds like you had a great time! I love karaoke. I can do well sometimes, and sometimes I BOMB. It is fun trying though, and pushing myself to do things sober! I am so glad that you are well! Have a great time at the all-star game!

You two are too funny. A quiet drunk is rare! I'm really loud anyway and boy oh boy did drinking make me go deaf!!!! I had to shout to hear myself

Glad those days are gone and the new person emerged. I like my sober self much better! I really thought I could sing when I was drunk (LOL-so much for thinking)

Nothing wrong with having a good time, I'm still chuckling at the guy who pulled a sombrero off the wall and sang La Bamba in Spanish. He was pretty good except for slurring a little!!! Then there is my husband trying to hit a high note and sounding a lot like a pig being chased!!!!

You go girl, I am really happy to see you responding well to the Pegasys as I am, we are indeed fortunate, Mind you we both pre-pared, months before treatment and did things to make it easier on us, so maybe we did do somthing right to help with this.

I already know what your # 12 PCR is, we will just wait untill its offical, he he, I know you know that tip toe tulip step dance, so keep up the great work, good to see you injoying your self, -What day do you go in for your PCR ?
