Pegasys Shot # 23 - Day 2
Howdy Folks-
Well did shot # 23, Mon, and if possible I even feel better than ever before, maybe its just because I finally recovered from my great northern adventure, and the weather is great.
Something I did notice, I took my "Mini-Me"
[my little Grandson] fishing, on Saturday, we had a great time, fishing was not great, mostly because he threw everything that was not nailed down into the water, [that’s a normal guy thing], he he.
But even though I wore a hat and sunglasses, and tried to sit in the shade as much as possible, and drank lots of water and Gatorade, I burned in less than two hours, on my arms and shoulders, I never burn, and never had to wear sunscreen, as I spent the majority of my awake life outdoors.
It just goes to show that how we are indeed light sensitive while on treatment, so beware and as always take precautions.
Well next week is the big shot # 24, half way mark, I can not believe its been six months already, it goes really fast if you keep busy, I think that is the key to coping with these treatments, at the end of the day I have no problem sleeping, I am asleep when my head hits the pillow.
I if possible will even be busier now as I am taking a forth job, I will be writing a column in the Northwest regional newspaper, called "The Great Outdoors" it will have fishing, camping, hunting, wilderness survival tips, and a general outdoor activity format.
I wrote a column years ago, based on the same format, it was all freehand with no computer or spell check, so after posting here so much I can type quite well now, He he.
Anyway, I will be even busier, and will help pay for all my Archery ads in that paper also.
I hope I feel this good when I am off Pegasys, he he,
HOOOOYA.
Someday we will make this right,
One day we will win this fight.
Do not let treatment control you,
Control your treatment.
Be positive, to achieve a negative, be well all.
