| Pegasys Sho t # 25
Howdy all-
Well did Shot #25 last night, not much to pass on.
I generally take two Tylenol about a half hour before shot, as I was directed by my specialist, you know, if I take the Tylenol only fifteen minutes before I feel the injection, needle wise, but if I wait the full half hour I feel nothing.
-Diana - you had mentioned an stron chemical smell or odor with the Rebatron, so I made it a point to carefully smell the Pegasys, as I let the air out of the needles I let the "drop" as it reached the 180 mg line, and I smelled it- absolutely nothing, and after injection I removed the plunger in the needle and again no odor at all with the Pegasys.
- Went to the city for my week 24 tests and PCR, the first test was the quanitive PCR test, this one will be the Qualitive PCR test, all the other blood and results I got back, all normal, great actually, however my ALT is still a little higher than normal, which can be caused by the drugs themselves.
- HEY SEAN and all you Geno 2B-ers, great news in our group, all the 2B-ers that started when I did, are now finished, at week 24, and ALL were finished UNdectected, and one was a elderly gentlemen of 65 years young, actually a Doctor himself.
Well because of his age, the Pegasys was a slight bit harder on him than others of us at younger ages, which is understandable, his biggest problem was a bad cough, but he endured and is now undetected, HOOOOYA.
And it is reported that 99% of all respounders, with pegasays remain undetected at near five years, pretty encouraging news for people that are in their sixties that are thinking of treating.
- Well, West Nile virus is officially in Alberta, with more cases reported, get outdoors but be careful out there use precautions, it entered north America by the east coast, and worked its way west, last year there were 24 reported deaths in Ontario Canada, [East] and 254 deaths in the USA, with countless seriously ill and bed ridden, and/or not reported,
Although the reported deaths are mostly in the elderly, it is us middle age-ers that are hit with the long term bed ridden illness, so be-aware, more crap we do not need on top of HCV.
-I am feeling great, I can run, mountain bike, hike up and down hills, and have no problem breathing, I may not do it as quite as fast as last year but, no one notices but me, I have been told that I am lucky or in denial???, concerning sides,
I think I should become a couch potatoe, all day watching TV, drinking pop and eat potatoe chips, -yup then see how lucky I am. he he -- Get OUT there!!
I get up at six AM every morning and work at all my different ventures until about ten thirty PM, and then relax until about eleven thirty, then I find I get tired, and have to go to bed around midnight, dammmn I just can not keep up anymore, he he.
I am that little Gopher in caddy shack,
wigging his behind singing-
"IMMMMMM all right, IMMMMMMM OK"
He he
May all your sides be Grand Baby’s.
Someday we will make this right,
One day we will win this fight.
Do not let treatment control you,
Control your treatment.
Be positive, to achieve a negative, be well all.
Neil
