PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE be active and get this treated as fast as you can get dr's appts....my father had this...and my family feels that we weren't given enough info on it...kinda feel BS'ed...MAKE them tell you everything!! and I mean the good and the bad....don't just accept what makes you feel better after you hear it...I don't mean to be the negetive one here, but maybe my story may help you somehow someway...I am sure they will do more tests to you, but if I were you I would get a scan of your entire body every year...I believe it is called a PET scan...my father had a mole that was bothering him on his side and after removed they found it to be melanoma...he did interfuron(?sp) treatments for a year, and come to find out later that treatment is not very effective on melenoma long term as they told him. Three years later he found a lump under his arm, went to the dr and yep...it was melanoma...before they did radical surgery again(as they did around the mole) they decided to do this PET scan...they found a tumor on his sacrum, just above that on his spine, breast bone, liver, lung, and spleen...a couple weeks after that they had to do a CAT scan of his head for a really really bad headache...and yep, he had about 20 pea size tumors peppered throughout his brain...it moves very quickly...my father passed away two months later...I really hate to be the one to have to say something bad, but PLEASE PLEASE act quickly with this stuff...I don't know all the facts about this stuff...it may move faster in some then others...I don't know, but I would not take the chance...
