HI THERE,

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN GET MEDICAL INSURANCE COVERAGE IN CENTRAL FLORIDA (LAKE COUNTY - OCALA AREA) AS A NEW PATIENT WITH HEP C? IS THERE ANY COMPANY THAT WILL COVER ME? I HAVE NO OTHER PRE-EXISTING CONDITIONS. I KNOW IT MAY BE EXPENSIVE BUT I WOULD APPRECIATE ANY INFORMATION THAT ANYONE MAY HAVE. THANKS VERY MUCH.

Hi Villagegirl.... I too live in Central FL ... still have my old insurance. BUT.... looked all over and very difficult situation. If you belong to an organization perhaps they will have insurance. If you know someone who has their own business try to do some part time work and then you can join their group. Or if you are self-employed and have one employee other than yourself you can be a group and then get your own insurance. If the second person drops off later or they will not terminate YOUR insurance.

I never thought of this before! What happens when if you leave your present job for a new job? will they find out you have hcv from the medical check? will this prevent you from getting insurance due to having a preexisting condition? I found out I have this after I took my present job. SO, I already had pretty good insurance. What would happen If I left the job? is this what has happened to you???
